    Jessica Silverman is pleased to participate in Frieze Los Angeles 2024, running from February 29 to March 3 at the Santa Monica Airport. The gallery will present artists Andrea Bowers, Beverly Fishman, Hayal Pozanti, Davina Semo, Rose B. Simpson, Pae White, Margo Woloweic and Chelsea Ryoko Wong in a curated group presentation that gives us access to worlds that rise above the mundane. Comprising eight female artists on the gallery’s roster, this presentation promotes connecting with our bodily senses, shared planet, and human emotions.

    Displayed on the walls will be large-scale paintings by Hayal Pozanti and Chelsea Ryoko Wong, which transcend abstraction and figuration to bond with the sublime.
    In the space, a chapel-like cove houses five bronze bells by Davina Semo. Reverberating with potential for symphonic intervention, the works invite visitors to ring the bells and share in moments of meditation.
    Works that call for brighter political and ecological futures include Andrea Bowers’ neon titled Beloved Community (Quote by Martin Luther King, Jr), a source of glowing cooperative power.
    Beverly Fishman’s vibrantly colored, three-dimensional geometries based on pharmaceutical and medical industries probe politics with a liberatory horizon.
    In a similar pursuit of harmony and balance, Rose B. Simpson’s towering bronze Heights I implores us to raise our consciousness and actively grow.
    Finally, both Pae White’s enchanting dichromatic ceramic circles and Margo Wolowiec’s woven tondos invoke environmental and planetary splendor. Together, the works call on us to commune with elevated purpose and meaning.
