Rebecca Manson, Arctia
Rebecca Manson’s Arctia takes inspiration from the Arctia genus of tiger moths, whose striking wings combine intricate patterning—meant to ward off predators—with flashes of vivid color. Submerged/Emerged is a hand pressed and molded relief made from cast paper. Fine lines radiate from a central, vulva-like form into folds that suggest both petals and butterfly wings. The shapes appear to sink into the paper and rise from it, giving the title a physical presence. By forming this imagery in the paper itself, Judy Chicago extends the organic forms of her drawings into three dimensions, where light and shadow bring their contours into view.

Braided Together depicts the unbreakable bond between four generations of women in Rupy C. Tut’s family. Through specific gestures and body language, the figures communicate as they move through a mango grove and fields of tall grass. The trees provide a space of safety, while the women’s movement evokes the passage of time that does not stop for anyone.

Laeh Glenn, Red Fish
Laeh Glenn is a Northern California painter whose work explores the visceral power of painting in an image culture largely mediated by screens. Working from what she calls “orphan images”—3D models created for video games, advertising, and architectural renderings—Glenn gives digital forms a material presence. In this new suite of paintings, a fish, a flower, snails, and a tree acquire settings they never had: a tabletop, a shadow, or a horizon line. The resulting images feel both haunted and palpable, vintage, and futuristic.

Part of Catherine Wagner’s Moving Pictures series (2024-present), these photographs explore cinema as both a reflection and shaper of collective consciousness. In this new suite of works, the artist turns her attention to iconic, acclaimed films from French cinema, with familiar titles summoning images, emotions, and memories. Their juxtaposition and proximity suggest conversations across different moments, allowing each viewer’s recollections to animate the static arrangement

Koak, When I'm Ready to Be a Lonely Island
Across her drawings, Koak uses the expressive possibilities of line to explore solitude, openness, and the boundaries of the body. Softly articulated faces anchor figures whose limbs and torsos expand into sweeping curves. Their direct gazes and fluid poses suggest different kinds of self-possession: the ability to withdraw, occupy space, or remain open to an encounter. Domestic details and abstract patterns surround the women, allowing their environments to feel continuous with their emotional lives.
