Jessica Silverman is pleased to present “Animism Reanimated,” a curatorial remix of “Conversational Spirits,” which explores animism, a.k.a. the belief system that attributes distinct souls to inanimate objects, plants and other natural phenomena. As the oldest trait in the world’s existing religions, animism is a deep human unifier and potential healer at a time when national, racial and ethnic differences trouble the globe.
