Why Public Art Matters
Be part of an engaging panel discussion examining the role of public art in shaping San Francisco’s cultural identity. Led by Allison Arieff of the San Francisco Chronicle, this conversation features a range of voices from across the city’s arts community. Speakers include Alison Gass, Founding Director and Chief Curator of ICA SF; artist Catherine Wagner; Aliza Marks, CEO of Big Art Loop; with additional panelists to be announced.
Bringing together leaders from both public and private sectors, the panel will highlight those actively working within San Francisco’s public spaces and creative landscape. The discussion will explore the vital importance of art in the city’s future and the key role that collaborations between public and private partners play in making these projects possible.
