Solo Exhibition

June 22-August 1, 2012

SILVERMAN is pleased to present an exhibition of new work by Dashiell Manley. The artist’s first solo exhibition at the gallery includes two interrelated bodies of works that include film projections and a selection of double-sided objects.

A body with two hands.
The sun rises and sets every twenty-four hours.
Two bodies of work were made by a body with two hands, at the same time.
Day and Night.

Eight hours of day produce eight objects and a film.
Eight hours of night produce eight objects and a film.
Eight hours of sleep produce eight objects and a film.

We see everything at the same time even though this is impossible.

We see things that we do not want to see.

WE ALWAYS LOOK THE OTHER WAY.
